Their skiff'd have ever received has to be a bike when I was younger, a pedal bike.

It was a sort of slick little road bike and I remember it was all like, it was so, it was all wrapped up,

it was so obvious what it was obviously because nothing shaped like a bike and I had a little ribbon on it and I was so

a guess. For that was a life changer and I'm still sort of big on cycling around my area now so, for that one change really.

Welcome in to the Wednesday Bible study. We are excited to continue our walk through the book of Genesis.

If you have been with us, you know that today and you go ahead and turn there, we're going to be in Genesis chapter 30.

So we have, I think only one chapter did we do over two weeks.

So we're 29 weeks into this baby and we've been doing this January so we're in our eighth month walking through the book of Genesis.

This Wednesday Bible study and its foundation is a men's Bible study as I tell you every week but we're walking through books

of the Bible women are always more than welcome to join us and many of you do so we welcome you here as well.

Inside the room it is just men that we've been here for eight years doing this Bible study in a couple of different places.

We've only been at this location since January but these are the studios of the Rick and Bubba show if you're watching this on YouTube.

If you're listening to the podcast archive just FYI. But here's some things you need to know.

We have a men's discipleship strategy. This Bible study became part of that when we were working on it years ago.

We launched it in 2020 in the month of March and the men's discipleship strategy is designed for men to be studying the Word of God for 40 weeks out of the year.

And then during that time there's a number of gatherings where they get together for hot challenge. Those are called man churches.

And then they get into one of our three curriculum. We have a fourth one that will be out next year and then they walk through that. So that's the high equipping.

So it's a combination of hot challenge, high equipping and a cycle that never ends year after year.

And we are hearing from churches all over the country where at 520 something now very excited.

I saw we added one today before the Bible study started. So I love checking that as churches all over the country and even around the world and the Bahamas in Canada are doing the men's discipleship strategy.

At least if they're not doing all of it, they're doing the curriculum. But here are some some man churches that you could attend if you'd like to kind of kick the tires on it and a city near you coming up this Friday night August 12th.
