Summary

In Genesis 4, we start to see the effects of the Fall on Adam & Eve's family and how it negatively impacts generations, starting with their sons Cain & Abel. Ultimately, in this sermon, Pastor Mark concludes that everyone needs Jesus because, though it can be easy to get haughty, in this story, Cain is a picture of humanity and Abel is a picture of Jesus.

0:28.5	So if you've got a Bible, go to Genesis chapter 4.
0:31.7	And the Bible is the most honest book ever written.
0:34.6	It shows us the truth about life on earth and the best and worst days in human history.
0:41.5	And so far to catch you up, Genesis 1 and 2, that's when God did all of His work.
0:46.0	He made the world.
0:47.0	He made our first parents Adam and Eve.
0:48.8	He made marriage.
0:50.2	Everything was good.
0:51.6	Genesis 3 shows what we have done and that is broken and ruined everything that God made.
0:57.6	And what we see in Genesis 3 is that after the wedding comes the war, Satan shows up and
1:03.2	has a demonic attack on our first parents and the first marriage.
1:07.0	The question then is, well what ensues afterward?
1:09.5	What is the fate of human history?
1:11.6	When we turn to chapter 4, we're actually turning to the next generation.
