0:58.2	and we figured we'd stick with Genesis since the book is always better than the movie, right?
1:01.8	Well, I did want to at least pay some homage to the movie version,
1:04.9	that animated story of Joseph,
1:12.7	because of something that blessed me as I was preparing myself for this lesson. Each week as I get ready to sit down to film, I spend a ton of time in scripture, as you can probably guess, reviewing
1:17.4	things to try to get everything back into my mind and heart and checking all commentaries and
1:22.4	alternate Bible translations and you name it. Beyond that, to get into the more spiritual zone, I'll usually come
1:30.5	and roll at my sleeves to remind myself that I've got work to do and take off my shoes to remind
1:35.9	myself that I'm on holy ground with you and with the scriptures, and then kneel down and pray and ask Heavenly
1:42.2	Father usually for two things.
1:51.2	One is to purify motive on my part so that all glory goes to God.
1:54.4	My wife used to joke that pride is a lot like bad breath.
1:58.3	Somebody might have wonderful things to say, but man, it stinks as it comes out of their mouth.
