So the Lord God called Adam and said to him,

Adam, where are you?

Now, he's not doing this because he doesn't know.

Right?

He's doing this because he does know.

Verse 10, he replied, I heard your voice.

Oh, anyway, to finish that up.

That's where they're getting the voice of the Lord walking in the garden is from that word.

I heard your voice as you were walking in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid myself.

Right? Not a good experience. and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid myself. Right.

Not a good excuse if he's trying to cover up what he just did.

Right.

Because there's a bunch of immediate questions.

Why were you afraid?

How'd you know you were naked?

What made you think you could hide from God behind a tree?

Verse 11.

Thus he said, who said you were naked?

Have you eaten from the one tree from which I commanded you not to eat?

So we have opportunities. Have you eaten from the one tree from which I commanded you not to eat? Right?
