0:30.0	Hello, my friends, so glad to be back with you. I'm Jared Halverson. This is Unchaken.

0:45.0	Today, we're going to dive into Genesis 18 to 23, the second half of what we started last week with Abraham and Sarah.
0:53.0	If there was ever a couple that deserved two weeks worth of study and two very long lessons, it's those two.
0:58.0	The father and mother of the faithful, those to whom we're supposed to look by way of example.
1:04.0	Last week, we ended with circumcision as the token of the covenant.
1:08.0	And today, we'll pick up where we left off. Chapter 18 is the covenant renewed specifically to Sarah.
1:15.0	Then 19, we'll see this destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
1:18.0	20 Sarah goes through a second round of a test that we saw last week.
1:24.0	21, then Isaac is finally born just to be nearly sacrificed in 22.
1:30.0	And then 23 is the death of Sarah.
1:33.0	And so some really important things to talk about today.
1:36.0	I really pray that the Holy Ghost will help us through it because there are some issues we'll discuss today that,
1:42.0	oh, I think we'd probably prefer to dance around and yet rather than dance around, then we need to really wrestle with them.
1:48.0	And so pray for the Holy Ghost to be our companion as we dig into Scripture.
1:53.0	So without any further ado, Chapter 18, verse 1,
1:57.0	the Lord appeared unto Abraham in the plans of memory.
