When Jake was up here, I'm sharing, taking the offer.

He was specifically talking about generosity.

And tonight, I'm actually in my message titles, generosity, the path to life.

And so, it's good, Jake.

You're not the only one, but you're listening to God.

Turn to 1 Samuel chapter 10, and I really do want to talk about generosity tonight.

1 Samuel chapter 10, if you have the New King James version,

I want to read you this verse out of the King James version.

And I want to tell you a little bit about my story,

and then share some convictions that I have about specifically about generosity.

We'll use money as an example, but I think it's much more than money.

In fact, sometimes it's easier to give stuff than it is to give time.

At least it is for me. It's easier to give somebody stuff or give somebody money,

than it is to actually spend time with somebody.

But anyway, in 1 Samuel chapter 10 verse 25,

I want to tell you a little bit, a little story behind this.

Well, we were writing my, the very first book that I wrote was called The Supernatural Ways of royalty.

And we were, thank you very much.

And we're, I was writing, I was writing that book and I have an editor,

whose name is Allison Armeding, and she's actually a graduate from our school.

And so she's edited probably five or six of my, of my books.
