And Jesus said in Luke 1423, go out into the highways in the countryside and urge everybody

you find to come in so that my house will be full. Who are you thinking of to bring to your church?

Maybe it's a friend or a neighbor or maybe your accountant or the person who rings up your

groceries at the local market. Whoever it is, I want to challenge you to be a light at Christmas

and invite them to services at your church.

You know, sharing your faith with the next generation, well, it's one of the most important things you can do.

And we're so glad you're here because today Rick is continuing in his Leaving a Lasting Legacy series.

Rick gives you some very special tools to help you share the biblical

to Rick with the final part of a message called Generosity is Love in Action. I'll never forget

the first time I let God test my faith about giving.

I was 19 years old.

I was going to college and I was in debt.

I owed a $500 bill that was due to the college at the end of that month.

I owed $10 to a friend, and I didn't

have any money. All I had was $50 in a savings bank account at a bank. Now, I knew that wasn't

going to pay for all that debt, and so I just thought, well, shoot, I may as well try this.

God says, put me to the test

try me given it should be given to you all that kind of stuff Tom was just talking about

and so I went down the bank I took the 50 bucks out of the bank and I put it in an envelope
