Hey there. I am so glad that we get to serve you today through this podcast. I pray

God is going to speak to you. You may be seated. I'm going to ask

you if you would please to turn with me to several passages in the Psalms,

start with me in Psalm 78, please, 78.

Then I'm going to have you turn to Psalm 145 and hear some verses from it as well.

And then two other single verses that will continue on with the theme and by the time we read these four segments

you will know what we are here to discuss this weekend.

Psalm 78,

praise you Lord, praise you, Father.

Versus 1 through 8,

O my people, hear my teaching, listen to the words of my mouth. Of course the next

verse is such a prophecy of the teaching of the Lord Jesus and will also see some

applications to us this weekend in the spirit of the one who saved us. I will open my mouth

in parables. I will utter hidden things, things from of old. What we have heard

and known, what our fathers have told us, we will not hide them from their children.

We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord,

his power and the wonders he is done.

He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel,

which he commanded our forefathers to teach their children so the next generation would know

them, even the children yet to be born and they in turn would tell their

children then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds

but would keep his commands they would not be like their forefathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation,
