Summary

DESCRIPTION: What if someone could have predicted COVID-19? This week’s guest, Ramon Gabrieloff-Parish says the astrological chart for the decade holds some clues to the onset of a major shift in society, and what our generation is called to do about it. Along the way Ramon and Renee get into the symbolism of the outer planets and what they mean for generational experiences.

Ramon Gabrieloff-Parish is a life long stargazer who, beginning with a set of phenomenological and imaginal experiences in his youth, is developing his craft as an astrological philosopher and social artist. He is particularly interested in the cycles of the outer planets and what they reveal about various historical periods and the collective karmic tasks of generations.

In his day job as a core candidate Assistant Professor at Naropa University’s Interdisciplinary Studies department he teaches foundations in contemplative learning and theory, social identity and sustainability. He also focuses on the equity dimensions of the environment through courses in food and environmental justice. In addition to freelance consulting, lecturing and teaching in these fields he is a certified practitioner of SomaSource and longtime leader/facilitator in the Surfing The Creative® International Youth Leadership Camps, having helped usher hundreds of young people through contemporary threshold experiences. As a previous board member of Youth Passageways and a current board chair for Frontline Farming, Ramon is committed to the revival of rites of passage and communities rooted in resilience, regeneration and cosmic purpose.
