Why?

I tend to not support companies that don't share my values.

And Levi's, while once a great American company, no longer shares my values.

And it changed for me when they're president of the

Levi's brand, Jennifer Say, started tweeting out during the pandemic lockdowns about why are we

locking down kids? There are kids in inner city, San Francisco, who don't have a shot right now.

They're missing out on socializing. They're missing out on reading and

math. And she got shunned by the Levi's Corporation. She was on the track to be the CEO of Levi Strauss.

And instead, they tried to buy her out. She said, no thanks. She turned down the money. She said,

I want to have the freedom to speak my mind. She left Levi's, left San Francisco. She's doing a lot

with her life ever since, including joining this show three times previous to today. And today we'll talk about a new

project she has coming up, a documentary film you've got to hear about. Jennifer Say is next.
