Lately I've been finding myself in lots of conversations about art and how it's deeply

connected to truth and beauty.

Because art is nothing more than the expression of the human experience, every human has the need to create and appreciate art, and therefore the ability to be an artist.

Too often we get hung up on the notion that art and literature is something high and lofty, that only those with a certain degree of inborn talent can tackle.

But this is anything but true.

As fiercely unique individuals, we all have something inside us that deserves to be expressed and shared with others.

Art is inside all of us, and if we add desire as a catalyst, we're all capable of refining our art

into something that can be shared with the world.

Writing in particular is an art that can be learned by almost anyone, and speaking personally,

I can say thank heavens it's so.
