0:43.2	And today we have a retired four-star general who entered the United States Air Force in 1974 and graduated from the Air Force Academy in 1979 with a bachelor science degree and aviation science.
0:58.4	Now, he served on active duty in the United States Air Force for over 40 years.
1:03.0	During his military career, that included six overseas assignments.
1:06.3	He was a command pilot with more than 5,000 flying hours, including more than 470 combat hours.
1:13.1	He primarily flew the F-16 in addition to the T-38 and the T-37.
1:19.2	He served as commander of the Air Force Global Strike Command.
1:22.1	He also concurrently as the commander of Air Force Strategic Command and U.S. Strategic Command, responsible
1:31.1	for the nation's three ballistic missile wings. What does that mean, folks? This gentleman
1:36.8	was responsible for approximately one-third of the nation's nuclear deterrent. A little bit

1:45.0	He is the recipient of Air Force Distinguished Service Medal.
