And today we're looking at the money challenges faced by the trans community,

people who have a different gender identity

to the sex registered at their birth. There are quite a number of things that trans and non-binary

people often have to manage, some medical, some social and some financial. Challenges like changing

your name and your pronouns with a bank, or perhaps worrying about discrimination when

going for a promotion or pay rise. Before we meet today's expert panel, let's go straight to a caller.

Andrea is on the line. Andrea, hello. Thank you very much for joining us. Can you tell us your

gender identity and what kind of financial issues have arisen because of that?

All right, well, my name's Andrew, as we said, and I'm a trans woman.

My pronouns are she and her.

And some of the issues which I've had when I've been talking to financial institutions.

I've been to do with changing my title, name and pronouns.

I don't have a GRC.
