Copeland's, a detransitioner, a member of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synodic Congregation,

author of the new resource Lost in Er Errors maze, a compassionate guide for parents

of children struggling with gender identity. Katie, welcome. Thank you. What was it like to suffer

from gender dysphoria? In the moment, it's hard to describe, but coming out of it, I can see now

that I had this nagging feeling that something was wrong with me, that I shouldn't be a female or that my more feminine characteristics were wrong somehow.

And I was just feeding into that delusional thought process and chasing every high I could.
