Is there a spiritual revival happening here in America?

Well, good morning, folks.

That's a great, great question.

And happy Memorial Day. We honor all of the fallen soldiers, people who served and continued to serve in our military. And we thank God and nation for the brave men and women who every single day put their lives on the line for our freedom.

Today we're talking about our freedom of religion. To me, that's particularly special.

As a pastor, as a believer, as a Christian husband and father, our Christian faith, and the freedom that we have in this nation to express that Christian faith is really, really special.

We are truly, truly blessed to live in a nation where we have the freedom to be able to exercise our spiritual, religious beliefs.

Regardless of denomination, regardless of your belief, we all have the freedom to be able to express that.

That's a God-given freedom that our forefathers protected under the Constitution.

They protected our freedom of religion. And I think it's just wonderful, wonderful, wonderful,

and we can never, ever take that for granted.

Nor should we ever take that for granted.

So the question I ask is, all right, a lot of soldiers laid their lives down to protect our freedoms.

Do we really, do we really take that for granted? Or is there something else happening here in America?

Is there spiritual warfare? Is the church doomed? We see a lot of churches closing their doors at unprecedented rates, actually.

But the question is, is there revival happening here in the United States?

Well, there's something called the revival factor, and there's been a lot of research about this.

And of course, opinions are pretty much all across the board when it comes to this.

But what's fascinating is that the research is pointing to a major resurgence here in the United States.

And it's driven in large part, according to young people,
