However, there was a new article that came out that said Gen C shoppers are helping to bring shopping malls back to life, this after years of decline, because the younger customers are spending more time and money

in person at malls rather than just online. Data suggesting that people between the ages of

18 and 24 are still buying most of their merchandise in stores, which is far more than the older

generations.

I think part of this has to do with the fact that perhaps Gen Z is realizing that

doom scrolling alone in your apartment is depressing and that human beings actually like being

around other human beings.

And people also need somewhere to go that isn't just work or a bar and

Gen Z is starting to figure this out that they want a third space and they're going to the mall.
