Morning, everybody, welcome along to your free podcast for today, Monday, the 19th of September, which actually is good news for many of you, because this is the week, and you should be excited if you get paid monthly, you get paid this week. And that's always the bonus, as far as I'm concerned. I quite like the idea that you work for the month, and then somebody puts money in your bank account. So that's always a good time as far as I'm concerned. But the weather's definitely changed. As you know, I've been moaning about this blasted cold that I seem to have attracted. It's only sniffy, sniffy. It's nothing particularly. It just makes me a little bit winded because as a diabetic for some reason. I don't know why it's worse for diabetics,

but we sort of get the flu jab as quick as possible. Trubbis, I've picked up this

blooming cold and I haven't had the flu jab yet. Kind of defeats the object, doesn't it?

Anyway, nice to have a company and I hope you're sort of all, all singing, all dancing after

the weekend. Of course, the big news as far as I was concerned.

Two, two bits of big news. The sad news that Charming Carr died, Charming Carr, and you're

going, who, if you just turned on the radio, if you just sort of downloaded this podcast,

she was Liesel in The Sound of Music, and she was had, um, slight dementia. Now, I interviewed her

on two occasions, once when all the kids came in, as you know, if you listen to the program,

and Robert Wise came in as well. I couldn't believe my luck that we got all the kids in and Robert

Wise. It was just, it was a momentous occasion. Where the interview's gone to, I've got no idea,

no idea. And, uh, and the other bit And the other bit is that Bross are reforming. Can't imagine why. I really can't imagine why. They're going to make £10 million each. I don't think they are. I don't think they are. I can think of the case of one particular person, a very well-known celebrity. I won't tell you who it is, who went on a tour, and at the end of it, walked away, and worked themselves to death for this tour, and walked away at the end with a pittance, because it was all swallowed up with touring costs. I mean, Bross, you know, in their day were big, but I remember there were two cases, as I highlighted on the programme this morning, once in about 2008, where they were thinking of reforming, and Matt Goss, usual, sort of, the one who sort of is the mouthpiece of the group, and then his brother Luke says, we've discussed no such thing at all. Then they fell out, and as recent as 2010, they were going, no, we're not going to reform, because it's, you know, the moment has passed. And I agree. I think the moment has passed. And you remember, of course, this was the debacle on LBC some years ago when I laughingly read in one of the papers that Bross were thinking of reforming. And I said, I should imagine, the only place to be reforming is in a phone box. Because I don't think there's any interest. I think they've moved on from that.

You know, Matt's been in Vegas. He's now not in Vegas. He's now finished. And so he's obviously looking for something. I don't know how much money he would have made in there. I really would have no idea. I don't know how much Vegas pays, but I shouldn't imagine it was enough to give him a multi-millionaire lifestyle, so they sort of put out this thing going that they're going to reform.

And I thought, why? Why would you reform? There'd be nothing worse than reforming and having three-quarter empty stadiums. Because where else can they play? You know, and they'd have to be big. So the cost of equipping the stadium with the rigs and the lighting and the sound, and Craig's not with them. Craig was the one who

walked away with a million pounds, and he's the one who's done the best. You know, I don't want to be sort of rude about it, but I can only show you the facts and say that Craig got a million quid, got a job with one of the big record labels, and he's big, he wouldn't want to reform as Well, that's like, you know, Victoria Beckham reforming with the spice girls.
