Connie is going to tell us about Gita Angara.

Gita Angara.

Gethangara was born in 1961 in Chennai, India.

Fun fact, St. Karen went to Chennai in her sophomore year I think she was there for like three weeks she went there for like a

mission strip of college or high school high school oh yeah she like earned her own money, she raised all of it herself, like, she did the damn thing.

She's the best. Getha was a trailblazer, and I don't say that lightly.

She graduated from Loyola College and Chennai with both her bachelor's degree, followed by her math. in Not only was she the first woman to graduate with her accolades, she was also in the top of her class, graduating with a gold medal.

She didn't stop there. She immigrated to the United States in 1984, where she continued to just set herself apart.

She earned multiple master's degrees, as well as her doctorate in organic chemistry from

NYU, New York University.

again and I'm also going to get my doctorate and I'm just going to be a boss

bitch forever like in her personal life she met and married Jaya Angara, a fellow immigrant from India who worked in banking.

The Angara family moved to Clifton, New Jersey and eventually their family grew by three, two daughters, Priva and Pavithra, and one son, Vivek.

The family was really living the dream.

In 1992, Geitha started working at Pasek Valley Water Commission, which is the public water utility plant that provides water for almost a million customers.
