i think this should push people over the edge the incompetence and neglect the stupidity of the people at DWP, and that has been a corrupt,

disgusting organization for as long as I've lived here.

I can't tell you how much time we have spent over the years on DWP scandals.

And now to find out that they did not supply Pacific Palisades with virtually any water,

the reservoir, which was built in 1964, for fire purposes.

You have to understand this.

This reservoir was meant to be there to fight fires.

117 million gallons. It was empty,

as you know. And then the water flow into the palisades was weak to not existent.

All the fire hydrants didn't work. They'd all run dry very quickly. And then, of course,

you know, the firefighters weren't sent up in time or in great enough numbers.

But I want to focus here just on the DWP.

Because now there's going to be literally thousands of, if not thousands of lawsuits, thousands of plaintiffs.

And so the LADWP is now taking more of your ratepayer money, money that they did not spend on building

water mains that carried enough water into the town.

Buddy, they did not spend on fixing and filling the reservoir, but they're going to spend it
