Today, we are continuing our series on the most significant gear developments of the 21st century.

And folks, I made mention of this in our part one conversation that there was always going to be a chance

that what we intended to be a two-part series was going to expand.

And turns out that is exactly what has happened here.

So today, what you are going to be hearing is my conversation with Greg Klein. And this is a

fantastic one. And it's so good. We just thought, you know what, let's just run this as part two.

And then in part three, we're going to have a more dedicated conversation where we can take

our time really thinking through and discussing

these same questions for snowboarding.

So that is our plan.

And I don't know, I still wouldn't hold your breath that this somehow doesn't turn

into a four part or five part series.

We really cannot be trusted when it comes to these things.

But I'm telling you, this is a really good one here today. And the most shocking thing I think is that Greg proposes kind of an

alternate history about the first rockered ski. I would love to hear from you folks. Were you familiar with this story? Do you think

this is the right claim to the first rockered ski? This was news to me and part of me would love to

believe that Greg isn't right, but you can listen for yourself and see what you think. And we're

going to need the real ski historians to come back up Greg's claims or to help set the record

straight. Anyway, really interesting stuff here. And bonus, when you bring Greg on, you're bound to get

another Shane McConkey anecdote or two.
