You've been sitting great too long. Welcome ladies and gentlemen of the Ralph Nader Radio Hour. I'm Steve Scrove and talking to you from Los Angeles.

My co-host David Feldman is in New York City and the

man of the hour Ralph Nader is in Washington DC. Good morning gentlemen.

Good morning David Steve. Steve.

And we're going to get right to it because the hot topic, a tragic topic this week is what's going

on the Middle East and in Gaza.

And Ralph, you wrote a column this week about Israel you claim running a large

open-air prison in Gaza. Tell us about that.

Yeah, this is a very censored situation throughout the years.

The mass media in this country really has disgraced itself in the way they've covered it

as if there's only one side to the story.

It's important to have a little history here.

Israel was created by the United Nations with the US Support, 1948, and it had about, I would say,

35% of the Palestine area under the British Palestine mandate.

There was hostilities broke out with surrounding countries.

It was all a very complex mess of competing

battles between Arab soldiers and then Arabs

and Israelis.

And the net was that Israel doubled its size.
