Conditions in Gaza are growing even more dire as desperate people are scrambling

for food and other basic needs as Israel broadens its military offensive.

In a sign of the growing desperation for tens of thousands of displaced civilians,

people in the southern city of Khan Yunus broke into United Nations warehouse and took food supplies. That left the UN with nothing to

distribute there today. The UN Secretary General yesterday invoked a rarely used power

to warn the Security Council that the crisis in Gaza was a global

threat. The move was described by Israel's foreign minister as constituting

support to a terrorist organization. Wall Street Journal reporter Saeed Shah joins me now with more.
