What is the general opinion of the prime minister's visit to the Trump White House?

Because there's plenty of anecdote here and observation that it was a warm and excited meeting

between the president, but also an opportunity to meet the cabinet, the members of the cabinet

who weren't overseas, including the Secretary of State

and the Secretary of Defense. How was this covered on Israeli television and Israeli newspapers?

Good evening to you, Alex. Good evening, John. Good evening, Malcolm. So in general, the Israeli press

does not look favorably on Prime Minister Netanyahu. And over the past five or six years,

as we've had five consecutive election cycles, the media has really turned very sour on Netanyahu

to the point where there's almost nothing that he can do in their reporting that's going to appear

to be right. And so too we saw with this trip in Washington. You know,

I was in the Oval Office and I can concur your observations on the trip that it was a very

warm and friendly and productive embrace. In fact, it was probably an essential meeting. But most

of the Israeli media, they categorized the trip as an utmost failure on every level, saying that Netanyahu failed to get relief on tariffs.

That Trump said that he's going to go into negotiations with Iran as opposed to ordering a military strike, that Trump

has signaled his friendship and admiration for Recep Erdogan of Turkey, who is Israel's enemy,

just pointing over and over again that everything that Netanyahu would have hoped to get out
