I don't want to sound insensitive, but is there a finer story ever?

Has there ever been a finer story for highlighting the hypocrisy of right-wing,

quotes, thinking, end quotes, than the Labour plan to remove VAT exemptions from private schools?

I do not understand this tiny number of parents who are complaining about it.

Why are they not being told

by their friends in the Conservative Party and the British media to cancel their Netflix

subscriptions or eat fewer avocados or possibly discover the value range of food that some

supermarkets have on offer? It's quite extraordinary how unaware people seem to be of how ridiculous they sound when they deny the existence of genuine poverty or the necessity of food banks, but reach for the biggest violins in the world when a tiny number of parents warn that they may not be able to send their children to private schools anymore.

Those of us who are lucky enough to be in a position to do so, do so because it is unfair.

It is a desperate attempt to ensure that other people's children don't enjoy advantages that

your own children don't. And when that pool of people that can afford it shrinks by a tiny amount, the world actually becomes fairer.

We may get on to that story a little later in the program, but I struggle to contain my amusement.
