Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told his nation in a late address today that Hamas

had only begun to pay the price for Saturday's unprecedented attack. Netanyahu said,

quote, we are going to eliminate Hamas. Israel's military said earlier that it had entered the Gaza

Strip to conduct raids targeting Hamas militants, as part of an effort to find Israeli hostages.

And it air-dropped flyers over the region, warning civilians to move south.
