President Biden returns from Israel after a trip that was dominated by

questions around a blast at a hospital compound in Gaza.

Plus, the U.S. lifts sanctions on Venezuela's oil and gas sector.

This is almost a 180-degree shift. The Biden administration say that they're giving

Venezuela a six-month window to show that they are willing to make

democratic reforms. And if they don't, that these sanctions could be reapplied.

President Biden is back in the U.S. after a day-long visit to Israel.

Biden achieved some of what he set out to do, saying that Egypt and Israel have

agreed to let much-needed aid flow into Gaza via the Rafa border crossing

that said major logistical questions remain,

with Egypt noting that the main road to the border remains impenetrable

following an Israeli bombing campaign in recent days.

Also dominating Biden's trip were questions around the blast

on a hospital compound in Gaza earlier this week,
