I welcome Yoni Tobin, who is a senior policy analyst at the Jinta to help us understand the ceasefire that no longer exists in Gaza.

And this new offer from Mr. Whitkoff, who I believe is now speaking for Israel or to Israel.

Yoni, this gets confusing.

Who is Whitkoff representing when he makes an offer to Hamas?

I think the best way to understand Whitkoff's role is that he is an envoy from the United States.

However, he is obviously with Israel's best strategic interests in mind, in front of mind, trying to thread the needle between the U.S. position, Israel's position, its vital security needs, and Hamas's intransigence

and stubborn refusal to surrender, release the hostages, and end this war, was it for all?
