Israeli gunfire has killed dozens of people trying to get aid in Gaza.

That's according to the Palestinian Health Ministry, which says at least 73 people died,

and around 150 were injured yesterday at sites around the enclave.

The Israeli military has repeatedly fired at people trying to get desperately needed humanitarian

help from a controversial distribution group, with the UN saying nearly 800 Gazans were

killed between late May and July 7.

The World Food Program says it delivered food to Gaza yesterday morning, and as it approached

the large anxiously waiting crowd, the people came under Israeli fire from, quote,

tanks, snipers and other gunfire. Israel's military says troops fired what they described

as warning shots to remove a threat. Extreme shortages of supplies like food and medicine continue

in Gaza, with one volunteer doctor telling CNN it's putting patients there at risk.

There is no way to survive, even a simple injury sometimes, if you don't have any food,

to heal yourself. I just want the people back home to realize, like, this is absolutely

atrocious what's happening, that people are truly starving here.

It's been a stressful few days for some air passengers in the U.S.
