The last few years at Northwestern is, it's complicated because you have the issue of NIL in real time that Northwestern was not prepared for.

That was a school that was not prepared to play big time college football with their

academics.

Then you follow through with the advent of NIL where you know Northwestern wasn't paying.

It's hard for me to go, okay, so clearly I can't accept four and 20, but how much better was it supposed to be?
