When last we left the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Louise the scavenger, Cynthia

the nurse, Alvin the mechanic, and Theo the combat medic. Apex had just returned to Riverside

and regaled the rest of the gang about what he found in St. Jacob. Mutated humanoid cicadas and FEV abound. Some strange

and wicked happenings are on the horizon. After returning to the Emerald Acropolis and

retrieving some supplies, they met with Johann, who set up a meeting with the enigmatic preacher

of Vault 40. With new answers, but perhaps just as many questions,

the runaways plot their next move.
