When last we left the runaways, Louise, Alvin, Theo, and Cynthia had stopped briefly through a former raider sanctuary known as Boulevard Heights.

After doing a few favors for the mayor slash sheriff Wilbur Afton, he parted with a sleek piece of technology, an ultrarsight power armor helmet.

Meanwhile, Apex, along with his scouting

team, made their way into the abandoned settlement of St. Jacob, discovering the horrifying

truth of the cicadas' presence in the wasteland. After having barely survived his fight

with the cultivator, Apex fled St. Jacob before reinforcements

arrived.

And having learned more about the growing situation, set off for Riverside to regroup with his

companions.

But not before making a pit stop at the St. Louis Zoo to pick up Yogi the Yauguai.
