When last we left the runaways, Apex the Wild Man, Louise the scavenger, Alvin the mechanic, and Theo the medic.

They were trying to find allies in order to liberate Westport from the clutches of Mayor Deuce.

To that end, they sought out the previous mayor in the train wreck saloon.

After failing to sway the bartender to their side, Delilah and her mysterious bodyguard made

themselves known. After a brief and tense conversation, and one cigarette burn later, a secret

message scrawled at Ash laid out a meeting between the two groups. Once everyone arrived,

the gang quickly discovered that the opposite party had some surprises in store for the runaways as the apex was lured into a buoy-trapped bed, until the conversation concluded. It was also here that Barry, the mysterious malefactor from Louise's past, made himself known.

Together, they pitched a plan in order to take over Westport with minimal bloodshed.

Meaning concluded, the runaways now have much to consider on tonight's episode of Gateway.

through the window of Louise's hotel room.
