When last we left most of the runaways, Apex the Wild Man, Louise the Scavenger, and

Alvin the mechanic.

They made their way back to Riverside for some much-needed R&R.

Apex bid farewell to his brother and parents as they decided to head to the botanical gardens and help the people living there with their research.

Meanwhile, Louise got a call from

Dave about a lead on her search for Barry. Last reports put him in Westport and

Alvin learned that his former white razor leader and flame Jet has been on the move, venturing further inland in search

of new places to craft their cams, as well as Alvin himself.

Just as the runaways were planning their next move, Apex and Louise were approached just outside of Riverside by an unknown figure.
