When last we left the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Cynthia the nurse, Louise the scavenger and Alvin the mechanic,

inquired Dr Howell about his knowledge of Johann, which turned out to be extensive as he is apparently

none other than his father.

Explaining that a lab accident caused the death of his wife and the mutation of a young

Johann, he inquired a young Don Slick about keeping the new type of super mutant locked

away in the arena.

While he worked to keep Johann's power contained,

years later he met Apex's parents who apparently worked together at some point,

sensing their synth pursuer closing in the... who apparently worked together at some point.

Sensing their synth pursuer closing in, the runaways began rigging the field of battle in their favor with traps and tricks.

As time of conflict approach, they saw a fearsome sight, a dozen feral ghouls, being led along by a member of the Harbingers who himself was being held hostage by Iris, the bodyguard woman from Riverside, who was the courser this whole time.

Now with a fight among them, will they survive?
