When last we left the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Alvin the mechanic, Louise, the scavenger, and Cynthia, the nurse.

They were hunkered down in the Jefferson barracks, home of the Brotherhood of Steel, where they awaited the

return of their companion, Cynthia, who arrived moments later, along with Apex's brother, Bruce

Though this news gave the group an initial panic, it was quickly revealed that Cynthia and

Dave actually met Apex's parents at the science center, as they were the one she was tasked with helping.

Bruce left the group to go get yelled at while the runaways pondered where their next stop would be.

After revealing they had access to the radio tower in Westport,

Elder Savage sense Pelodin Dread along with the group

to ensure they could fix a signal booster to the towers

so that they could contact the Greater Brotherhood of Steel.

With plans to head into the botanical gardens to retrieve their parents' equipment,
