When last we left most of the runaways, Apex the Wild Man, Alvin, the Mechanic, and Louise

the Scavanger. They explored the Brotherhood of Steel Outpost in the Jefferson Barracks.

The ally they brought with them, Scribe Devon,

introduced the group to his superiors,

Palladon Kimber, and Elder Savage.

The young elder, being slightly skeptical of the group at first,

was able to give them some information behind the massacre that took place years ago,

which led them to having so few members in their ranks. This splinter faction of the Brotherhood of Steel

has been unable to contact the Greater Brotherhood for years and are thus unable to

shore up their ranks in manpower and supplies. The group then took some time to wind down after a long and perilous

travel to consider their options going forward. Meanwhile, Cynthia was on her way back to the

group when she got the sneaking suspicion that she was being watched.

Her hunch turned not to be correct when she was confronted by none other than Bruce

Dread, who gravely asked, Where is my brother?
