When last we left most of the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Alvin the mechanic Louise the

scavenger. A massive brawl broke out in the children's village of the magic house. Blood,

bullets and briefcases alike went flying. Apex almost single-headedly defeated the super-mutant

mastermind known as Magruder in a battle for the ages. During the fight, Johan led a brotherhood

of steel scribe, who had then been enslaved to the super-mutants to safety before rejoining

the fight. Louise down some kems to give her an edge in battle as waves of super-mutants

continued to pour into the miniature village. Alvin boxed with a banker who nearly beat

the brakes off of him, and Johan played baseball with the skulls of his kinfolk. However,

all was not well, as the fight dragged on Johan received a debilitating wound. Upon being

revived by Apex, he began to change, growing to a enormous size, large enough to destroy

the rooftop above them all. Johan and a fit of rage and pain revealed himself to be another,

and the enormous super-mutant they freed from the arena.

Johan took the one surviving super-mutant and left the runaways in order to make his dream

of a society of super-mutants a reality. Stunned, hurt, and exhausted. How will the runaways
