When last we left most of the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Alvin the mechanic and Louise

the scavenger. They awoke, with a start, to find that their companion Cynthia was nowhere

to be found. After a bit of looking, they found a note, not from Cynthia, but from her

robotic opposite personality, Kara, stating that Dave may be in trouble, and that she needed

to go to him. Saddened, but confident she'll contact them soon. They departed from Kirk,

and a surprisingly silent maught, who claimed they were headed east towards their eventual

goal of Illinois. At Apex's suggestion, they began to head towards where they know

the brotherhood of steel to be, and also towards his parents' farm. Along the way, they cut

through Topoingo, where they found a small group of woefully unprepared raiders, who gave

up pretty much immediately, and talked with Alvin for a few moments before leaving. At

which point, the tribals of Topoingo revealed themselves and welcomed them into their lands.

What more will they discover about these people? Will they make it to the brotherhood of steel?

And so you are, hang on. There we go. And so you are after a brief scuffle with the

Topoingo tribe's strongest warrior. You are sort of welcomed further into their encampment,

where they begin to set up tents. I believe they were going to feed us. Sounds like

Tapoingo has wanted to get intense. Free food. Yeah, you see like a whole mole rat being

like hauled out and a fire pit being prepared.

Apex watches in the reverence. How is the guy I just essentially not intentionally humiliated,

how is that guy doing? He looks as if he's a little bit exhausted from the encounter. He's

sort of just like stretching and rolling his shoulders, trying to get the blood pumping

into his extremities to sort of dull whatever pain he might be in. I walk over to him.
