When last we left the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Alvin the mechanic, Louise the scavenger

and Cynthia the other nurse, they made a return trip to the arena in order to both check

in on Big O, who seemed to just barely be keeping a lid on the men still being willing

to call her then the boss, and also investigate the area where the Hulking psychic monstrosity

breached its containment. They found an old locker room which had been converted into

a miniature laboratory, inside of which was a strange pub that looked as if it could

hold a large person, and there was a small amount of radioactive residue left inside.

Apex ripped out some of the cage-like wiring with a depth in precise hand, preserving the

structural integrity for closer inspection at a later time.

Johan, agitated by the place, was relieved from the party finished their investigation,

and finally embarked on the journey to find Kirk. What lies ahead of them, find out

on tonight's episode of Gateway. Leaving the arena behind you. Where? There we go. Leaving

the arena behind you. You set off southward towards St. Luke's hospital, and towards your

eventual goal of finding Kirk and Fepp.

So the first stop along the way will probably be that diner we found. The first time we traveled

down this road seems to be a commonly visited area. Maybe we can pick up a rumor about Kirk

if he's still around here.
