When last we left the runaways, Apex the Wildman, Alvin the mechanic, Louise the scavenger

and Cynthia the nurse. They got their bearings after boating their way to Valktown, a small

settlement that's copped outside of Vault 66. A town had been struggling recently due

to a lack of traders coming their way as they'd learned. While Chris got the gang up to date

on various goings-on and places to purchase goods, Alvin and Louise went down to the vault

itself, a humongous space that could have easily fit thousands of people in it. To peruse

their librarian or to find a way to make their scavenged power armor fully operational once

again. Meanwhile, Apex and Cynthia haggled with a store owner on some goods with mixed

results. The two left and general saw and regretted with a sight of an emaciated super mutant

who introduced himself as Yohan. Apex, feeling a sort of kinship with the large mutant, offered

food in exchange for a handful of bloody caps. A townspeak, wary of the large breed, green

man, backed away in fear and shock, although the overseer of Vault 66 managed to calm the

people down and prevent a catastrophe. The gang settled in for the night and got to know

Yohan a bit better and, excited as prospect of finding their old acquaintance Kirk, agreed

to join them on their misadventures. What will become of this truly bizarre partnership,
