When last we left the Runaways, Apex the Wildman, Cynthia the Nurse, Louise the scavenger

and Alvin, the mechanic, the gang began to familiarize themselves with a town of Riverside,

Alvin's home, and one of the last bastions of civilization left in the wastelands.

Bossman, the old golden charge of the St. Louis machinists, a company the group to town hall

after introducing them to the mayor of Riverside, a serious in-business like woman named Maria.

After explaining their situation, Maria welcomed the runaways to Riverside, but expressed

a possible future need for them, for aid from them.

Uh, in handling the myriad of hot water they found themselves in.

After having a rare IC pre-raw treat, they headed back to Bossman who was waiting for them

with a surprise, a nearly fully refurbished Corvega Blitz.

Bossman explained the only party needed left with a replacement transmission, and the old

girl would work again like new.

Also one of Alvin's friends, a ghoul named Pointman, seemed to recognize Cynthia, much

to both of their shock.
