Even now, we are making allies past the gateway that come to aid us in this time of

crisis. We shift again to the north where a blonde-haired, blue-eyed woman clad in black and a ghoul

in a gilly suit, sail down the Missouri River on a rickety tub,

and behind them, the best fighters and hunters of Vault 66 make their way east.

Our friends, the runaways, are risking their lives to make sure that we have a chance at surviving

the first of many challenges we will face as we struggle and grow.

Finally, we go back to our protagonists, the runaways, riding an elevator down into the bowels of the earth,

and into the very heart of Vault 40, wherein lies a key to paradise in the wasteland.
