Hey everybody, welcome to capitalism.com. Hey, I'm Ryan Daniel Moran. I just got back from VCon,

0:11.3

which is Gary Vaynerchuk's annual conference for his NFT holders, the people who bought into

0:17.6

VFriends, which I did. I bought two VFriends. I bought the Hangout Hawk, which gets you

0:24.0

a few Zoom calls with Gary every year, and I bought the dinner deer, which gets you one annual

0:28.8

dinner with Gary and the other dinner deer holders for three years. And V-Con is interesting to me

0:36.4

because I'm a big Gary Vaynerchuk fan and I'm also

0:39.9

interested in the whole Web 3 community. And I also do conferences. So I go to VCon to kind of see

0:47.4

how Gary does these and also to learn what is going on in the Web 3 world. And Gary also brings in a bunch of really high

0:55.9

level business leaders to come give talks or do Q&As. So I went last year and I decided to go this

1:08.2

So I stayed an extra day and took a 90-minute trip up north to Marion, Indiana,

1:13.2

where I walked the halls of my alma mater at Indiana Wesleyan University, which was a big trip down

1:20.3

memory lane. Got to see my friend Curtis give a sermon because he actually became a pastor.

1:26.5

We were in some pastoral ministries classes together, but he actually became a pastor. We were in some pastoral ministries classes together,

1:29.6

but he actually became a pastor. I became an entrepreneur. And I came back with some things that I

1:36.2

wanted to share with all of you, because I did have some takeaways from V-Con, but also had some

1:40.5

big takeaways for myself after seeing it contrasted with how Gary Vaynerchuk does things.

1:47.0

Now, as a lot of you know, I'm a very big Gary Vaynerchuk fan. He is who I want to be when I grow up, and I have modeled some of my business decisions after seeing how he does things.

1:59.3

I also just really appreciate the fact that he stands for

2:02.1

kindness and empathy, which are values that I also strive to emulate, to embody, and to pass on

2:10.2

into our communities. But the way that Gary Vaynerchuk does events is different than how I do

2:17.0

them and how I want to do them. So I want to
