In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk,

that deep in your understanding of God's Word, and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life.

Have you ever noticed that when something works

for somebody, they try to make it a rule for everybody? Maybe you've wondered, how can I connect

with God? And so you ask somebody wiser, more seasoned than you, and maybe they give you a three-step

process, but the steps don't work for you. Have you noticed that formulas in a relationship with God just are never

foolproof? There are no formulas. In fact, my guest today says it's time to strip away the

frustration of a one-size-fits-all spirituality and discover a path of worship that frees you

to be you. Many Christians have been told that a daily quiet time is the key to deep faith,

yet many have found the traditional quiet time to be somewhat helpful in starting a life of devotion, but rather restrictive and inadequate even to building an ongoing, life-giving relationship with God.

It could be that the key to deepening your faith is identifying how God built you to worship most fully.
