It is Friday, November 1st, a couple of days before the most important election of our lives.

That is not hyperbole.

I wish it were hyperbole.

There are many people out there, I have to say, profoundly ignorant of where we are who don't seem to

think it matters whether we vote. That is just mind-blowing to me. I want to be real clear. I'm not

somebody who just says stuff. If I could be persuaded that it didn't matter

whether we voted, believe me, I'd be thrilled. But I think that's not the case. It's kind of like

saying, well, I don't think you'll get hit by that car. Go out in plain traffic, son. Well, maybe you

won't get hit by that car, but maybe you will. And that's not really prudent.

We are at a moment where, you know, you could always say, well, who's to say what's going to, yeah.
