I don't know about you but in my garden I'm noticing things are coming up at strange times of years. I've got bulbs already breaking through the ground that years ago I wouldn't have expected to see until January.

And I'm not alone. Taking a wider view, since 1906 the global average surface temperature has increased by almost 1 degree Celsius,

and rain and snowfall have increased across the globe on average.

Yet some areas are experiencing more severe droughts, increasing the risk of wildfires, lost crops and shortages of drinking water. And this is what we're going to discuss today,
