Thursday is the Nats first scheduled off day since July 20th, but the Nats on Wednesday

packed about two days worth of stuff into the one day. First came a three-two walk-off win over

the Milwaukee Brewers at Nationals Park to win two of the three games in the series as the Nats

overcame a 2-1-9th inning deficit with a two-run bottom of the ninth. But then shortly after the game,

but long enough to where reporters already had spoken with Davy Martinez and Nats players,

the team announced two significant moves. So the team announced that it had optioned second

baseman Luis Garcia to AAA Rochester, and the team announced that it had

requested unconditional release waivers on outfielder Corey Dickerson. Neither move necessarily shocking,
