The Republican George Santos is still a member of Congress this morning, a vote to expel

him from the House failed yesterday.

The Republican led effort to boot Santos fell short of the two-thirds vote needed to expel

a member of Congress.

He's under fire from both Republicans and Democrats for lying about his personal history.

He's also charged with nearly two dozen federal charges that include stealing people's

identities.

The FDA says more eye drops are being recalled.

On Wednesday, the Ohio Headquartered Pharmaceutical Company Cardinal Health announced it was

recalling its Rugby brand eye drops after it received reports of burning eyes, blurry

vision, and vision loss.

Earlier this week, the FDA warned against using 27 different brands of generic eye drops

after inspectors discovered bacteria in the facility that made the products.

The eye drops have since been pulled from the store shelves.

And finally, the Texas Rangers are World Series champs for the first time in franchise history.

This defeated the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 in game 5 of the series last night.

The Rangers were no hit through the first six innings before Mitch Garver delivered the

go ahead run in the seventh.
