this is recode media with peter kofka and that is me and this week we had some news so

we're going to talk

about that news. That news of course is Microsoft led by CEO Satchinadella and their plan to spend

$70 billion, give or take a billion dollars to buy Activision Blizzard. If this deal goes through

and there are questions about that which we're going to talk about. If this deal goes through, it will be Microsoft's biggest acquisition in its history.

That is a big, big deal.

Such a big deal that we're having two different guests come on to talk about it.
