john campia and this is the show where we talk about those things that we love. Movies and movie news, TV and streaming and all that good stuff. Joining me in studio, of course, is our technical director, Jonathan Voico. Good afternoon, everybody. Writer, director, producer, Robert Meyer Burnett. How's it going? And most importantly, of course, you guys are here. Thank you so much for being here making our little show part of your day. And here's how our show's going to go. We're going to start off by talking about a number of predetermined topics we got lined up for you guys. Then in the second part of the show, that's the most important. That's when we take your live comments and questions. If you have a thought, theory, opinion, question, or an observation you'd like us to address,

as long as we deem it appropriate to be addressed on the show in front of

everybody, go ahead and fire it on into our super chat feature in the live chat, and we'll get

around to addressing those in the second part of the show. All right, guys, we got a lot of

things to talk about here today, so let's get things started. We're going to kick things off with this. The Acolyte was terrible. It was a really bad show. Did you watch it, Rob? Yes. Did you get it all the way through it? I did. I had to tap out. I had to tap out. And then about a

month or two later, I went back to watch the remaining episodes just so I had a foundation. And it was

really upsetting because you know how excited I was for that show. I do. I was so excited from from the

day they announced it. And it, uh, the first episode showed promise. I was so excited from the day they announced it. And it, the first episode showed promise.

I think the first, the combat, I'll give credit words, do.

Combat looked pretty good in it.

But yeah, it was really, really quite bad.

And they canceled the show, and that's a good thing.

And now there's a new story coming out that really makes me glad they canceled it.

Because apparently Yoda, who does a little, spoiler alert, does a little cameo at the end there,

apparently he was going to go a little house of cards.

What?
